Jessica Govern / The Brand Governor

I run content for people who are already good at what they do.

Strategy, production, publishing. You keep doing the work that makes you worth following. I make sure people actually see it.

Get in touch

Most people I work with have the same problem. The work is good. The posting is sporadic, the best stuff gets seen once and never again, and none of it quite adds up to anything. Nobody's at the wheel, and nobody has time to be. That's the part I take over.

Strategy and management

I plan it, schedule it, post it, and tell you what worked. Content calendars, platform positioning, captions and hooks, community management, monthly reporting.

The part most people skip is discoverability. SEO, AEO and GEO, so you turn up when someone searches, and when someone asks an AI.

7 downloads a month to a top 100 How-To podcast, in under a year. Search strategy layered onto a social strategy, with the two feeding each other.

Content creation and editing

Short-form video, carousels, graphics, thumbnails, captions. Cut from your footage, built hook-first, sized for wherever it's going.

I've edited and managed content for creators with audiences in the hundreds of thousands. Long-form cut to match how they talk, short-form built to travel. I make ad creative for paid campaigns too.

Podcast and video production

Guest sourcing, AV editing, copy, scheduling. Full pre and post production, or whichever parts you need.

I currently handle video production for a podcast about life abroad. Before that I ran an entire podcast operation end to end, everything either side of the record button.

Turning it into business

Growing an audience is only interesting if it turns into work. I build content that moves people from watching, to asking, to paying, and ad creative for when you want to speed that up.

Why I work this way

Good work deserves better than whatever there was time for.

Almost everyone I work with is excellent at their actual job. But those people have no time for the content that connects the world with their talent. So content becomes the thing that gets done at 11pm, badly, or not at all.

Hiring help usually doesn't fix it either, because most of it arrives needing direction. You end up doing half the thinking and all the reviewing, which is the part you didn't have time for in the first place.

What actually works is having someone in-house. Someone who knows the business, sits in the timeline at 2am, knows what a bad audio file costs you, and can write the strategy and then go execute it without a handoff. That's the benefit of hiring me. I'm the driver and the engine — I decide where the content is going, and then I'm the one who does the work to get it there.

That's why I keep the client list short. I'd rather do this properly for a few people than adequately for twenty.

Fewer clients. More context. No handoffs.

Four ways we can work together

Pick one, or the combination. Most people start with one and grow into the others.

Management Content creation Podcast production The combination
What it covers Calendars, scheduling, publishing, captions, community, reporting, and the discoverability work: SEO, AEO and GEO. Short-form video, carousels, graphics, thumbnails. Cut from your footage, built hook-first. Guest sourcing, AV editing, copy, scheduling. Full pre and post production. Creation and management together, run as one operation.
A typical month A calendar, everything scheduled and posted across your platforms, comments handled, a report on what worked. Around twelve short-form edits, six graphics or carousels, thumbnails and covers, delivered ready to post. Two episodes produced end to end, plus clips, chapters and thumbnails. All of the creation, all of the management, one planning call, priority turnaround.
Best when You're making things already, but nothing's pointed anywhere. You have footage and ideas, and nothing finished. Recording is the only part of it you want to do. You want it off your plate entirely and just want to approve things.
Starting from €750 / month €950 / month €1,100 / month €1,550 / month

Starting points, not quotes. What it actually costs depends on how often you post, how many platforms you're on, how much footage exists already, and how much of it you're handing over. Tell me what you're working with and I'll give you a real number.

About

I've always been that person with a camera in hand. Travelling pushed me into documenting everything, moments, places, people, and somewhere along the way I fell in love with storytelling. Not the polished highlight reels you usually see on social media, but the real-life stuff that actually connects.

When I moved to France in 2019, everything shifted. That's when The Brand Governor was born. What started as sharing my own adventures turned into helping other people share theirs.

I want your audience to see more than your brand. They should see you.

I take on a small number of clients and get properly involved. Fewer people, more context, decisions made without a twelve-message thread.
